Please read the following information carefully before booking or attending treatment.
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all consultations, treatments, bookings, purchases, website use, and services provided by The Lux Nurse Injector (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking an appointment, attending a consultation, purchasing a product or voucher, or using our website or social media platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Lux Nurse Injector is a sole trader operating within England and providing non-surgical aesthetic and wellness treatments including, but not limited to:
- Anti-wrinkle injections (Botox)
- Dermal fillers
- Skin boosters
- PRP / Vampire Facials
- Dermaplaning
- Chemical peels
- Micro-needling
- IV/IM vitamin infusions and injections
- Hyperhidrosis treatment
2. Medical Disclaimer
Many treatments provided by The Lux Nurse Injector are medical or semi-medical procedures and carry potential risks and side effects. Results vary between individuals and no guarantees can be made regarding treatment outcomes, longevity, or satisfaction.
A consultation and medical assessment will be carried out prior to treatment to determine suitability.
Clients must disclose:
- Full medical history
- Current medications
- Allergies
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding status
- Previous cosmetic procedures
- Any medical conditions
Failure to provide accurate information may result in adverse outcomes for which The Lux Nurse Injector cannot be held liable.
3. Age Restrictions
Clients must be:
- 18 years or older for all injectable cosmetic treatments and advanced skin procedures.
- Valid photographic ID may be requested.
We reserve the right to refuse treatment where age verification cannot be provided.
4. Consultations & Deposits
A consultation may be required prior to treatment.
Deposits
- Deposits are required to secure appointments and consultations.
- Deposits are deducted from the total treatment cost.
- Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation policies are breached.
Prescription Costs
Certain treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections, require a prescription following consultation with an independent prescriber or pharmacist.
Prescription charges:
- Are payable directly to the prescribing pharmacist;
- Will be deducted from the total treatment cost where treatment proceeds;
- Are non-refundable once a prescription has been issued, regardless of whether the client later decides not to proceed with treatment.
A prescription does not guarantee treatment will proceed, as final suitability will still be assessed at the appointment.
5. Booking Policy
Appointments may be made via:
- Website
- Social media
- Telephone
- Third-party booking systems
Appointments are not confirmed until:
- Deposit payment is received; and
- Confirmation has been issued.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel appointments at our discretion.
For safety, confidentiality, and infection prevention purposes, companions may not always be permitted during consultations or treatments unless agreed in advance.
6. Cancellation & No Show Policy
We kindly request adequate notice for any appointment changes.
Cancellations
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours may result in loss of deposit.
No Shows
Failure to attend an appointment without notice may result in:
- Loss of deposit
- Possible refusal of future bookings
Late arrivals may result in shortened treatment time or cancellation of appointment if insufficient time remains.
7. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of aesthetic and medical treatments:
- All treatments and services are non-refundable.
- Dissatisfaction with aesthetic results does not entitle clients to refunds.
- Additional treatment sessions may incur further charges.
Unused portions of treatment packages or vouchers may be non-refundable at our discretion.
8. Treatment Results
Results vary between individuals depending on:
- Lifestyle
- Skin condition
- Age
- Medical history
- Aftercare compliance
No guarantee is provided regarding:
- Longevity of results
- Exact aesthetic outcome
- Symmetry or perfection
Some treatments may require maintenance sessions for optimal results.
Some treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections, may take up to 14 days for full results to become visible.
9. Patch Test Policy
Certain treatments may require a patch test prior to treatment, including but not limited to:
- Chemical peels
- Skin products
- Dermaplaning products
Patch tests may be required at least 24–48 hours before treatment.
Failure to attend or arrange patch testing may result in cancellation of treatment.
Clients who proceed against advice do so at their own risk.
10. Contraindications & Refusal of Treatment
Treatment may be refused where:
- It is clinically unsuitable
- There are safety concerns
- Expectations are unrealistic
- The client appears intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Medical clearance is required
The Lux Nurse Injector reserves the right to decline treatment where this is considered clinically appropriate or in the interests of client safety and wellbeing.
Abusive, threatening, defamatory, or inappropriate behaviour toward staff, whether in person, online, or through social media platforms, will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of future treatment.
11. Complications & Emergency Disclaimer
All aesthetic procedures carry risks including, but not limited to:
- Swelling
- Bruising
- Infection
- Allergic reaction
- Migration
- Vascular occlusion
- Scarring
- Unsatisfactory cosmetic outcome
Clients must follow all aftercare advice provided.
If complications occur:
- Clients should contact The Lux Nurse Injector immediately.
- Emergency medical treatment may be advised where necessary.
The Lux Nurse Injector is not liable for complications resulting from:
- Failure to follow aftercare
- Undisclosed medical conditions
- Treatment received elsewhere
- Delayed reporting of complications
12. Aftercare Responsibility
Clients are responsible for:
- Following all aftercare instructions
- Attending review appointments where advised
- Seeking prompt advice if concerns arise
Failure to comply with aftercare may affect results and increase risks.
Review appointments do not guarantee additional treatment or complimentary top-up treatment will be provided.
13. Complaints Procedure
The Lux Nurse Injector is committed to providing a professional and high standard of care.
If a client is dissatisfied with any aspect of their treatment or experience, concerns should be raised in writing as soon as reasonably possible so they can be investigated appropriately.
We aim to resolve complaints fairly, confidentially, and in a timely manner.
14. Liability Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Lux Nurse Injector shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from treatments or website use.
- Liability is limited to the amount paid for the treatment provided.
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability which cannot legally be excluded under English law
15. Photography & Social Media Consent
With client consent, photographs and videos may be taken:
- Before and after treatment
- During procedures
- For medical records
- For marketing and educational purposes
Images may be used on:
- Website
- Social media
- Promotional materials
- Training content
Clients may withdraw marketing consent in writing at any time; however, previously published materials may not always be removable.
No identifying personal information will be shared without permission.
16. Model Appointments
Discounted or complimentary model appointments may be offered for:
- Training
- Demonstration
- Marketing purposes
By accepting a model appointment, clients acknowledge:
- Treatments may take longer
- Photography or video recording may occur
- Supervision or observation may be present
- Results cannot be guaranteed
17. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers:
- Are non-refundable
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Must be presented at appointment
- Must be used before the expiry date
Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.
Gift vouchers may not be used toward prescription charges.
18. Care Plans & Payments
While finance or payment plans are not offered, tailored treatment plans may be discussed to accommodate different budgets and treatment goals.
Full payment is due at the time of treatment unless otherwise agreed.
19. GDPR & Privacy Policy
The Lux Nurse Injector complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
We may collect and store:
- Contact details
- Medical information
- Consultation notes
- Treatment records
- Photographs
This information is used for:
- Safe treatment planning
- Appointment management
- Legal and insurance purposes
- Client communication
Client information is stored securely and treated confidentially.
We will not share personal information with third parties unless:
- Required by law
- Necessary for medical safety
- Required by insurers or regulators
Clients may request:
- Access to their personal data
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Withdrawal of marketing consent
Records may be retained in accordance with legal and insurance obligations.
20. Website Use
All website content including:
- Text
- Branding
- Images
- Logos
- Educational materials
remain the intellectual property of The Lux Nurse Injector and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
